Lester Crest in GTA 5 is clearly ill as he can not walk properly and uses a stick. He has also been seen wearing a hospital gown in the game which means that he visits the hospital often for his checkup. Lester probably has wasting disease which are caused by abnormal body proteins. The disease has spread all over his leg, making it useless. Some people say that he has a disease called anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) which is a rare form of blood cancer. Whatever is the cause, the disease is the reason GTA 5’s main character has a crippled leg in the gamme.

He looks like a man in his 30s when he meets Michael De Santa at first and must be nearly 60 years old by now. Some sources state Lester’s age being 65 years currently and hence is grown old now in 2022. He is not very active because of his injured leg, which doesn’t let him participate in the missions directly although he seems to be an age-fellow of his friend Michael and is very efficient in other backstage matters.
