Who is Lester in GTA?
Lester Crest is the secondary main character in Grand Theft Auto V and has played his extreme role in GTA Online too. Out of the three main characters in the game, Lester is a trusted friend of both Trevor Philips and Michael De Santa. In a failed bank robbery earlier in 2004, Michael and Trevor left the city and pretended to be dead for almost nine years and three of them later reunited after many years.
They had to continue their criminal lives due to some unfortunate circumstances which were probably created by Michael mistakenly. In their heists in the game, Lester is the one giving information and leading the three main characters.
What does Lester in GTA do?
To be precise, Lester plays the role of an informant the entire game. He has been friends with both Michael De Santa and Trevor Philips and helps them whenever the need arises. Lester himself is a criminal and is best at his work because of his lifelong experience. The characters have to complete the missions given by Lester, which not only contribute to 100% completion of the game, but also are very rewarding as they provide players with huge amounts of money.
Lester GTA age
Lester Crest is quite a middle aged man in the game but his precise age has not been discussed in the game. He seems to be in his 30s when he met Michael De Santa and must be nearly 60 years old by now. Some sources add Lester’s age being 65 years currently and hence is grown old now in 2022. He is not very active because of his injured leg, which doesn’t let him participate in the missions although he seems to be an age-fellow of his friend Michael.
Why is Lester crippled?
Lester Crest is ill in GTA 5 and the consequences can be seen in him holding a stick. According to several reports, Lester probably has a wasting human disease caused by abnormal proteins in the body. This disease has traveled all over in his leg, making it useless and hence he has to use a stick to walk.
Some say that he has a disease called anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) which is a rare form of blood cancer. Either way, Lester has a disease leaving him crippled in the game. That is the reason he is seen wearing a hospital gown because he probably might have worn one to a hospital for a regular checkup.

Lester GTA 5 stocks
One of the best ways to earn money in GTA 5 is to invest in the stocks Lester advises you to. There are a total of five assassination missions in the game given to you by Lester.
In all of these missions, you have to kill one or more people who are influential and given high positions in certain businesses. Lester invests his money to buy their stocks and as you complete the mission, the stocks go high, selling which can earn you hefty sums of money.

Lester Crest has been voiced by an American actor, Jay Klaitz, who is famous for his amazing roles in the industry but mainly because he has voiced some important video game characters like Lester. Jay Klaitz has voiced a side character in the Ballad of Tony and a person in the Red Dead Redemption too.
